BMW N54 TTE500 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS
Our entry-level hybrid turbocharger for the N54 motor with a big performance, lightening spool, and durable performance. Based on the original turbochargers for Plug&Play fitting with the use of larger diameter inlet turbo feeds.
An extra-cost option is available above in the drop-down boxes to have TTE upgrade wastegates when selecting NEW if wanting to send used cores upgrade wastegates are automatically added as original are nearly always worn-out and need replacement. Includes: Upgrade Flappers, arms, and bushing(images are turbos with stock wastegates
Equilibrium
Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.

Great product, does what it says on the tin
Just completed, belatedly fitting and tuning TTE500 to my 2011 Z4 35is. On our dyno which we’ve used for many projects starting at 347 for stock, then 399 for MHD V10 stage 2+ the TTE500 went onto 546 BHP and 738Nm on 21.5 PSI boost on 99 RON fuel…this was with VSRF charge pipe, downpipes and turbo inlets, VTT turbo outlets, Forge DV, Wagner Evo 3c FMIC and Fox exhaust system. Stock airbox with a Mr.5 mod and a MHD custom tune.
