Welcome, to our TTE1020 Upgrade turbocharger stage for the new EA825 4.0L TFSI displacement motor fitted to the AUDI RS6/RS7 C8, RS Q8, A8 60TFSI D5, PORSCHE CAYENNE, PANAMERA, LAMBORGHINI URUS.

For this stage, we fit Larger TTE Billet compressors and also fit larger TTE 9blade exhaust turbines and mill the exhaust housing to suit for great power capacity. 

Much effort was focused on the CNC 5 axis milling program for the compressor housing inlet to ensure maximum flow to make TTE1020 something super special.  

NEW Turbos are OEM/TTE1020 heat shielded as standard (as pictured).  

 

Equilibrium 

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.

Some turbochargers on some models of cars are not factory heat shielded as standard but we can offer the optional TTE thermal isolation shielding at extra cost if sending in your used turbocharger for the upgrade process.  

Please note if you send turbochargers without the original AUDI thermal shielding for the "upgrade" process, we will rework your turbo and return without the shielding, unless you have selected the extra cost thermal Isolation process. 

*Depending on stock availability we may substitute TTE thermal shielding and give AUDI original thermal shielding instead.

very capable

We have used 3 sets of the TTE1020 turbos on 2 RS6s and 1 RS7 (US spec) all 3 cars made over 800 on our MAHA Dyno before reaching the limits of the stock fuel system. These are very capable and very well manufactured. The eventuri intake turbo inlets that are optioned for these turbos are a perfect fit to the TTE inlet. The APR will work but is not a smooth transition and will require porting to make a nice match like the Eventuri.
